MVK to Benefit from Partnership with Amtrak
Washington, DC; July 23, 2009 – Most Valuable Kids is pleased to announce that 500 tickets to three Washington Mystics games have been provided to the organization through a partnership with Amtrak. The tickets will be distributed to underserved youths, as well as active-duty military personnel in the Washington metropolitan area. The three games are July 23 vs. Chicago; August 2 vs. Indiana, and August 30 vs. Minnesota.
“We are so grateful to Amtrak for their partnership,” said Most Valuable Kids Founder Daryle Bobb. “Because of this alliance, many deserving young people, as well as service men and women, will be able to attend a professional sporting event and enjoy themselves. The mission of Most Valuable Kids is to provide a reward system for children and children's organizations that show exemplary behavior, spirit, and community service.
