The PSA shown during the 2010 season featured Coach Jennifer Gillom as spokesperson for the LA County Department of Public Health’s tobacco-free campaign. The MarCom Awards are administered and judged by Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals nationwide. In addition, the No Excuses LA campaign also won a Gold Award from the National Public Heath Information Coalition in sports marketing communication.
