Storm Waives Three

Williams appeared in two exhibition games for the Storm, averaging 2.0 minutes per game.
Williams was originally selected by the Cleveland Rockers in the third round (30th overall pick) of the 2003 WNBA Draft and then traded by the Rockers to the Los Angeles Sparks for a 2004 third-round pick. Waived by the Sparks on May 4, the Seattle Storm signed Williams as a free agent. She appeared in 28 games for the Sparks in 2003 averaging 2.0 points, 1.3 rebounds and 9.2 minutes per game.

Walseth was originally selected by the Sacramento Monarchs in the third round (46th overall pick) of the 2001 WNBA Draft and then waived on June 15, 2001. In 2002, Walseth was signed as a free agent by the Washington Mystics and in 2003 was signed as a free agent by the New York Liberty. Walseth has played in 22 WNBA career games. The Seattle Storm signed Walseth as a free agent on March 31, 2004.
Gardner-Combs appeared in all three exhibition games for the Storm, averaging 2.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 8.7 minutes per game.

Seattle will open the 2004 WNBA season against the Minnesota Lynx on Thursday, May 20 at KeyArena.
